Every Sunday we meet to worship, receive teaching from the Bible and enjoy God as a whole family. Our meetings tend to be pretty informal and everybody is welcome.
Our meetings start at 10.15 a.m. and end around 12.20 p.m. We meet in the Turbine Hall at the Castlegate building, for more information on how to find us click here. Each meeting consists of around 35 minutes of worship led by a band, followed by information about what’s happening in the church, and a talk from the Bible.
Refreshments are served before the meeting from 10:15am until 10:45am, including tea, coffee, juice and water and there is plenty of time to chat to people. We have an information point at the back of the Hall and our Welcome Team are there to answer any questions you may have about the church.
Activities for Children
At City Church we have a whole range of meetings for children and teenagers. Read more about our different groups here or please speak to a member of the Welcome Team for more information on what’s going on for each age group. We sometimes hold Family Sundays where Children join in the main meeting to express our heart to be a church family.
We regularly break bread and drink wine to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus. We also hold Sunday meetings for Baptising believers (a vital step after becoming a Christian), for new members joining the church and many nations celebrations (where the meeting may be translated into other world languages such as Farsi).
