City Groups are the best way to connect to others, and from a place of friendship, learn and serve. They are small groups of around 10-15 people from the church. They are held once a week in the evening and usually take place in homes, on campus or at the Castlegate.
They provide a chance to look at the Bible, pray, ask questions, serve God and make meaningful friendships. Usually the meeting includes a Bible study on the passage from Sunday’s talk, there is an opportunity to discuss the issues and to try and apply the Bible to our lives.
City Groups also seek to serve the wider community and to share the hope of Jesus with others. We encourage everyone to try and join a city group, in a bigger church it is a great way to get involved.
There are many to chose from, we run groups for students, young people, international community, Farsi speakers, and in many neighbourhoods around the area. We also run CityBugs, a Friday morning group for parents & carers of pre-school children (for more information click here).
